Cosmetic whitening is intended to lighten the visible colour of natural teeth. It does not replace a dental examination, diagnosis or treatment. One session takes 60 minutes, including preparation and the closing discussion.
Cosmetic whitening can change the appearance of colour where coffee, black tea, red wine or tobacco have left staining. The degree of change varies; we do not promise a fixed number of shades. Anyone expecting a specific white from an advertisement first receives a realistic assessment.
Fillings, crowns, bridges and veneers generally do not become lighter through cosmetic whitening. If they are visible, a colour difference may show afterwards. We consider this only from a cosmetic perspective before the service; we do not provide dental assessment or diagnosis.

Four steps, no surprises
01Cosmetic consultation
We ask about restorations, sensitivity and your last dental check. The visual check is only for the cosmetic service and does not replace an examination or diagnosis in a dental practice.
02Prepare
We record the starting shade so the change can be compared later. Lips and gums are covered so the gel touches only the tooth surface.
03Cosmetically whiten
The gel is applied in several passes; the complete session lasts 60 minutes. Report sensitivity or pain immediately. We stop the service and recommend dental assessment if discomfort persists.
04Result and care
We compare the shade with the starting point and provide guidance for 48 hours: no coffee, black tea, red wine or tomato sauce, and do not smoke.

How much does whitening cost here?

Does it also work on fillings, crowns or veneers?
Fillings, crowns and veneers generally do not become lighter through cosmetic whitening. If one is visible at the front, it may look darker than neighbouring teeth afterwards. We point this out cosmetically; professional assessment belongs in a dental practice.
Will the change look obvious?
The goal is a lighter natural appearance, not artificial bright white. The degree of change is individual and we do not promise a fixed number of shades. If you have a particular result in mind, show it during the cosmetic consultation.
Will my teeth be sensitive afterwards?
Temporary sensitivity can occur, and its intensity and duration vary. If your teeth are already sensitive or have exposed necks, have this assessed by a dentist before booking. If discomfort persists, worsens or becomes painful, contact a dental practice.
How long does the result last?
This depends mainly on your habits. Someone who drinks several coffees each day or smokes will see staining return sooner than someone who rarely does so. The first 48 hours after the session matter most because colour is taken up most quickly during this period.
Does this replace a visit to the dentist?
No. This is purely cosmetic, not dental or medical treatment. Checks, cleaning, diagnosis and anything concerning the tooth itself belong in a dental practice. We do not provide the service in cases of tooth decay or inflamed gums, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
