Born in Lima, trained in Switzerland, Italy and Germany. Qualified beautician since 2001, with her own salon since October 2006 on Zürichstrasse in Lucerne.
Beauty Rocío is Rocío Furger’s personally managed salon. She earned her Swiss beautician’s diploma in 2001; many clients have been coming for more than a decade. She is supported at the salon for selected regular treatments.
She completed her training in three countries: basic training in Switzerland, permanent makeup in Italy and machine-based beauty treatments in Germany. If she does not master something herself, she does not offer it.
Consultations are available in German, Español, Português, Italiano and English. This is not an advertising line, but the reason why many international clients come from Lucerne and Central Switzerland. You explain what you want in your own language.
Medical procedures belong with a doctor. We do not offer Botox, fillers or anything injected beneath the skin, and refer you to a dermatologist. That costs us revenue and spares you a risk.
Training and qualifications
Since 1 June 2024, cosmetic laser treatments in Switzerland may only be performed with a certificate of competence under V-NISSG. This is not an award you can choose to pursue, but the requirement for being allowed to operate such a device at all. Rocío Furger has completed the required modules.
The certificates are kept at the salon and can be viewed before a treatment. If something is not on this list, we do not offer it, even when asked.

How we work
If a treatment will do little for your skin, we say so. Even if you have already decided.
What is shown on the website applies. No surcharges for individual areas and no surprises at the checkout.
For permanent makeup, we choose a colour one shade below your expectation. More can always be added; removing it is difficult.
An appointment takes as long as it takes. That is why we are not the cheapest option and why clients return.
The Cosmetic Institute Beauty Rocío opened here in October 2006. Today we work with Aqua Facial, diode laser, microneedling with and without radiofrequency, and VelaShape.
Among the products we use are Chanel, RefectoCil, Swiss Color International, LongLash, Urban Decay, PN by ProNails, Beautiful Brows & Lashes, Dr Renaud, Derma SR, Caresse Suisse, Tooth Fairy and DERMIDA. The products used depend on the treatment and your needs.
In addition to treatments, Rocío Furger provides training: a beautician’s diploma with an internship, gel nails, makeup courses and PMU stylist training. Everything is listed under Courses and training.

Supports Rocío with selected regular treatments. This means you can also get an appointment at short notice, while Rocío continues to perform the premium treatments herself.
