Waxing removes hair from the root. The result therefore lasts three to four weeks instead of two days, and the regrowth becomes finer over time.
We work with warm wax and fabric strips, depending on the area and skin type. For sensitive areas such as the intimate area or face, we use stripless warm wax that adheres to the hair rather than the skin.
We do not offer sugaring. We deliberately chose waxing because it grips dense hair more reliably and requires fewer repeated passes.
What is Brazilian waxing?
At Beauty Rocío, Brazilian waxing is called “Brazil”. Warm wax removes hair across the entire intimate area; a narrow strip can remain if preferred. Unlike Intimate Classic, it treats more than the hair visible outside underwear.

What to expect
Four steps, no surprises
01Brief assessment
We ask about your skin type, medication and whether this is your first wax. This determines the wax and method.
02Prepare
The skin is cleansed and lightly powdered so the wax adheres to the hair rather than the skin.
03Remove
We work in small sections, always against the direction of growth, and soothe each area immediately afterwards.
04Aftercare
We apply cooling gel and give guidance for the next 24 hours: no sauna, solarium or perfumed products.

What you may want to know
Does waxing hurt?
The first strip is the most uncomfortable, after which the body adjusts. We work in small sections and soothe every area immediately. Regular clients usually find it becomes noticeably easier over time as the regrowth becomes finer.
How long must the hair be?
About five millimetres, usually two to three weeks after the last shave. Wax cannot grip shorter hair reliably and we would need repeated passes. Please do not shave beforehand, including the day before.
How long does the result last?
Three to four weeks, depending on the area and hair growth. Legs usually remain smooth longer than the face. With regular appointments, the interval can increase because fewer hairs are in the growth phase at the same time.
What helps prevent ingrown hairs?
From the third day, exfoliate gently twice a week and keep the skin moisturised. This is the most effective step and the one most often missed. If a hair still becomes ingrown, do not open the skin yourself; we can assess it at your next appointment.
What happens during a first intimate wax?
Treatment takes place in a private room and is performed by Rocío Furger or Dharma Ballén. If it is your first time, simply tell us and we will allow more time to explain the process.
Can I swim immediately afterwards?
It is better not to swim on the same day. The follicles are open after waxing, and chlorine and salt water can irritate the skin. Wait 24 hours, and do the same before sauna, solarium or exercise that causes heavy sweating.
